The Philadelphia Museum of Art Craft Show is presented annually by the Women’s Committee and Craft Show Committee of the Philadelphia Museum of Art for the benefit of the Philadelphia Museum of Art. Funds raised are used to purchase works of art and craft for the permanent collections of the Philadelphia Museum of Art, to fund conservation and publication projects and to support exhibitions and education programs.
Paradise City Marlborough is an elegant, well-attended show with strong high end purchases across all media categories. The show attracts collectors from Boston, its affluent suburbs, Providence, southern New Hampshire and throughout Eastern and Central New England. Like its very successful sister fair in the same location in March, it attracts considerable publicity in the Boston and suburban press.
At the entrance to Paradise City Marlborough is the Sculpture Café, which provides a prominent and effective display area for special exhibitions and large-scale sculpture. Acoustic jazz in the Sculpture Café lends a lively, upscale ambiance to the entire show.
The 64th Annual Art Fair on the Square is the signature event for the Deer Path Art League and our gift to the community. The two-day, juried fine art show, located in historic Lake Forest Market Square, attracts over 20,000 attendees, is free to the public, and celebrates the individual artisan.
Last year nearly 400 national and international artists applied to participate. The selected 180 exhibitors work in a variety of disciplines including: ceramics, digital art, drawing/pastels, fiber, glass, graphics/printmaking, jewelry, metal, mixed media, painting, photography, sculpture & wood.

Held the same weekend as the downtown art show, ArtFest Midwest features Iowa and regional artists. Over 250 artists participate during the festival, varying in mediums and styles. ArtFest Midwest is an alternative, affordable art show — a complement to the downtown show. ArtFest Midwest reflects quality similar to that found at the original “Art in the Park” show held several years ago at the Des Moines Art Center (then moved to the Fairgrounds). Patrons with be exposed to the artwork of local and regional artists, as well as selected artists from across the country.
